Katie Love

Captain Katie Love is a NAMS-approved marine surveyor and U.S. Coast Guard-licensed 1,600 Ton Master, Unlimited Second Mate (Oceans), and Master of Towing Vessels. She has served as Captain, Chief Mate, and Deck Officer aboard offshore supply vessels, ocean-going towing vessels, articulated tug-barge units, and harbor-assist tugs.

She previously managed Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) programs for a U.S. maritime operator with a fleet of 52 vessels, and holds ISO and ISM Lead Auditor certifications with training in root cause analysis and incident investigation. She is the founder of Love Maritime Group, LLC, which provides marine surveying, technical consulting, and maritime litigation support. Captain Love is available for maritime cases in all 50 states.
