About Dr. Damircheli
Mehrnoosh Damircheli, Ph.D. is a mechanical engineer and failure analysis expert with a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics and 16 years of experience. From 2008 to 2019 Dr. Damircheli held a court-certified expert designation and investigated industrial machinery failures, equipment-related injuries, HVAC and gas piping incidents, and fire protection defects.
Dr. Damircheli’s laboratory work includes SEM fractography, tensile and dynamic mechanical testing, thermal analysis, and atomic force microscopy on polymers, composites, and metals, with simulation in ANSYS, Abaqus, and LS-DYNA. Dr. Damircheli has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers, holds one patent, teaches mechanical engineering at universities in Pennsylvania, and is available for cases in all 50 states.
